Reports of the game’s demise (which do not seem greatly exaggerated in this case) stem from CNET, who spoke to Bethesda’s marketing man Pete Hines at PAX Australia and received confirmation from him that the cancellation of Prey 2 is official and that developer Human Head Studios has moved on from it. The game is dead and has been buried with the likes of Project Titan, Warrior’s Lair, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and so many others cut down in their developmental stages. The three-year wait for a definitive word on Prey 2 has ended, and the final word is… well, what we all assumed by this point anyway.
